MEET THE

FOUNDER

My name is Torie Dell. I first learned to crochet when I was about 6 years old from my great-grandma. I’ve crocheted on and off for years since. I first started writing my own patterns and designs about 4 years ago and have loved it ever since.

Also a little more about me is, I’m a cat mom with an amazing hubs who is super supportive of my yarn hoarding. Where we currently reside in Florida, as well he is my photographer for most of my pics as well.

I really started to amp up my crochet journey in the past 4 years, I’d say. I wanted to break out of the norms and make some things that aren’t typically seen. I love making tapestry patterns, but always will adore some chonk or texture. As I’ve been more comfortable in my own skin, my projects have started to reflect more of my inner person.

You will see lots of patterns named for people and creatures in Mythology. I’ve been obsessed with Mythology for as long as I can remember. I loved reading it as a kid and still adore it today. I wanted to have a bit of that seep into my projects.

I’m sure you’ve noticed the horror bags too. The horror bags have been a big project of mine. I like the genre and also to cosplay and know bags are an easier way for most people to incorporate some of their favorite movies into their daily life.

Most likely, you will probably see some Pagan elements as well. That’s intended. I definitely am not 100% on top of it all the time, but I do still consider myself as such and enjoy reading about the moon phases, sabbats and bettering myself.
